I’ve been an instructor for over 10 years. What I have learned from this is that most students spend a TON of their own time learning new technologies and trying to pass certification exams while still working the regular job. When I was preparing for the CCIE Security I spent nearly every evening for a year studying in my back bedroom of my house in Seattle. One thing that I never had, was an opportunity to talk to a real instructor, in a live classroom environment (online or in person), until after I failed my first attempt.
